Home Blood Pressure Monitoring

Step 1 of 3 - About You

    • Buy a British Heart Association approved blood pressure machine
    • Check blood pressure as per machine guidelines
    • Record blood pressure twice a day for two weeks, morning and evening
    • Sit for 5 minutes, ensure no disruptions or disturbance
    • Take 3 readings, leaving 1 minute between each reading
    • Record the lowest of the 3 readings on the chart below
