Appointments

We operate a telephone triage system.  Please call us.  A clinician will call you back and discuss your issue, and if we need to see you they will arrange a face-to-face appointment in a suitable time frame – this may be the same day or on another day.  Please see our Coronavirus update about other ways we are operating – under Latest News.

We offer evening telephone appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and these are pre-bookable and also released on the day – please ask a receptionist.

Please note every Wednesday 12.30pm – 1.30pm the Surgery is closed for staff training. We are also closed on bank holidays.

Extended Access Service

Patients at this surgery can make telephone appointments with our Extended Access Service, which offers routine, pre-bookable telephone appointments available in the evenings and weekends.

Please call the surgery as normal to book. You can speak with a local clinician at your convenience and you will need to consent to your medical record being viewed electronically by your clinician.

This service is suitable for most but not all issues – our receptionists will be able to advise you.  For more information please contact us.

Online Services

Patients will be able to register for online services by carrying out the following actions.  Once registered, you will be able to book routine telephone appointments and order your repeat prescriptions online.

1. Patients must present themselves to a member of the reception team with a form of identification from the criteria lists below:

List 1

  • Valid passport
  • Valid UK full photo card driving licence
  • UK issued identified card + one form of ID from list 2.

List 2

  • Utility / Council Tax bill (less than 3 months old)
  • Bank / Credit Card statement (less than 3 months old)
  • HMRC / DWP letter of entitlement (less than 3 months old)

2. Parent/Guardians must bring a form of photographic ID for themselves and for the child.  If a child does not have photographic ID, then birth certificate is accepted. Parental access is granted until the child turns 11 years of age, and after this point the child must expressly consent.

3. Under no circumstances will usernames / passwords be given out to anyone else other than the patient presenting themselves with their own identification.

4. Once a username / password is issued you will be able to access the online service via the link on our website.

During the pandemic – this process is able to be completed over the phone by verifying your identity and some information about your medical record. Please call us.  Alternatively you can set up the NHS app yourself – visit the App Store and download.
