Those patients who were previously asked to shield as they are considered clinically extremely vulnerable will be receiving a letter from the Government in due course – this does not come from the practice.

Service remains the same at the surgery, we will be maintaining telephone triage – please call us if needed. You can seek non urgent medical advise via www.nhs.uk or www.111.nhs.uk

Hospital services are also extremely pressured due to rising cases in our community. Minor injury or illnesses will not be treated in A&E at Lister, you will be diverted to the New QEII Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre in Welwyn Garden City.
