A limited walk-in surgery is available daily for urgent new problems. This is on a first come first served basis and you will need to book in at reception after 8.00am.
GP walk-in surgery, NO pre-booked appointments. This surgery is for the convenience of our country patients. It is intended for minor ailments only.
Please note every Wednesday 12.30pm - 1.30pm the Surgery is closed for staff training. We are also closed on bank holidays.
Extended Access Service
Patients at this surgery can make appointments with our Extended Access Service, which offers routine, pre-bookable appointments available in the evenings and weekends.
Please call the surgery as normal to book. You can be seen by a local clinician at your convenience and you will need to consent to your medical record being viewed electronically by your clinician.
This service is suitable for most but not all issues - our receptionists will be able to advise you. During the weekend, when we are closed, you can contact the service directly on 01438 847501 to make same day weekend appointments or cancel an appointment. For more information please contact us.
Patients will be able to register for this service by carrying out the following actions:
1. Patients must present themselves to a member of the reception team with a form of identification from the criteria lists below:
2. Parent/Guardians must bring a form of photographic ID for themselves and for the child. If a child does not have photographic ID, then birth certificate is accepted.
3. Under no circumstances will usernames / passwords be given out to anyone else other than the patient presenting themselves with their own identification.
4. Once a username / password is issued you will be able to access the online service via the link on our website.
If you are too unwell to attend the surgery and wish request a doctor to visit, please make the request between 8.00am and 10.00am when possible, as this will ensure the visiting doctor has your records.
Your visit request may be triaged by the nurse or doctor in order to assess whether a home visit is appropriate. If you are able to get to the surgery, please do so whenever possible.

Doctor appointments can be made and cancelled using your telephone key pad, just follow the instructions. Doctor appointments can also be made online, please ask at reception to register for this service.
